BMW Concept 6 motorbike

The German company has unveiled the BMW Concept 6 motorbike which is powered by a newly developed straight-six engine.

The engine of the BMW Concept 6 is around 100 mm or 4″ slimmer than all former unit.

The engine of the BMW Concept 6 comes with dry sump lubrication which helps keep the crankcase particularly low and flat which in turn means the engine can be fitted lower.

The power output of the BMW Concept 6 is almost the same as the company’s 1.3-litre straight-four engines, but the torque is significantly higher matching the one from 1.6 liter engines. This means the BMW Concept 6 outputs 130 Nm or 96 lb-ft of torque from just 2,000 rpm. The bike can rev up to 9,000 rpm.
