2010 LA Auto show preview: 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet
As the LA Auto Show is round the corner, upheavals have already started. Brands have started revealing their vehicles before they are showcased for the public viewing at the show. Nissan is one of those. The brand has revealed its all-new 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet – the world’s first all-wheel drive crossover convertible. The vehicle delivers the open-air exhilaration of a convertible while extending the versatility of the Murano in exciting new ways. With the seating capacity for four as well as spaces for golf bags or luggage and a premium level interior, Murano CrossCabriolet is an innovative breakthrough in concept and design.
From the images one can make it out easily that the vehicle has two large doors instead of four as reported earlier, a unique beltline and 370Z-inspired tail lamps. The vehicle is expected to retain the standard Murano’s 265hp 3.5-liter V6 and CVT transmission, while the customers will be able to choose between front and all-wheel drive. However, these are merely speculation and the only thing confirmed is it will go on sale in 2011. The real details to emerge with its debut at LA Auto show. So, we’ll be back with any updates as soon as they’re available. So stay tuned.
